Fed Square presents: 50 Years of 3RRR

  • Free
  • Music

Celebrate 50 years of independent community radio station Triple R with a free, all-ages gig, presented by Fed Square.

Come on down to Fed Square to celebrate this epic milestone, with a massive line up of entertainment featuring indie singer, songwriter and musician Courtney Barnett, noise-rock duo Party Dozen, and PNG-born neo-soul singer songwriter KAIIT, plus Triple R MCs and DJs.

Since 1976, the station has inspired the culture of this city. Triple R champions local music and art, platforms voices and ideas not adequately covered by other media and provides an invaluable space for aspiring broadcasters to cut their teeth.

The celebrations won’t stop there! Another special Triple R 50th birthday event will be coming to Fed Square in late November. Be sure to stay tuned for more details.

For those unable to attend, Triple R will broadcast live from Fed Square during Courtney Barnett’s set on Thurs 12 Nov 8.30pm.
