Echoes in the Dome

Echoes in the Dome presents an immersive salon show that redefines the relationship between fashion, movement and space.

Unlike a traditional runway, Echoes in the Dome unfolds as a slow, reflective performance – an experiential journey where models and performers move freely within the space. Through choreographed interactions of body, fabric and sound, audiences are invited to engage with fashion as living art.

The show merges live music by Very Low Frequencies, contemporary choreography by SCIMM dance academy and styling by Thea Basiliou, creating a dialogue between heritage, sustainability and modern craftsmanship.

Each designer from RMIT reinterprets time-honoured techniques such as tailoring, weaving and textile manipulation through digital fabrication and experimental silhouettes.

Curated by the RMIT Cohort in collaboration with the RMIT RUSU Fashion Society as part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival Independent Programme.
