Deaf Festival

Part of Victoria's Deaf and hard of hearing community since 1932, Deaf Festival brings together Deaf and hard of hearing people, families, friends, allies, organisations and the wider community for a day to connect, celebrate and experience the richness of Deaf culture.

On the day, expect live entertainment celebrating Deaf talent, market stalls from Deaf owned businesses and community organisations, family friendly activities for all ages, and food and drink vendors.

The festival also supports Auslan Emergency Interpreting, a service Expression Australia self funds to provide access to Auslan interpreting during emergencies.

Everyone is welcome, whether Deaf, hard of hearing, learning Auslan, or simply supporting the community.
