Build & Sip: Vibe Coding and Wine

  • Workshop
  • Events

This workshop is for women and non-binary folks who've been meaning to get hands-on with AI but haven't had the entry point, the time, or frankly, the wine. Three hours, real builders in the room, your rough idea turned into something that actually works by the end.

No tech background needed. Just bring a laptop, an idea (rough is fine), and a willingness to build before you feel ready. Your build could be a landing page. A workflow. A lead magnet. A calculator. An assistant. Something the dev team would put in a backlog until 2029.

You'll walk out with a working prototype, mentoring from builders who do this for a living, vibe-coding resources you can use again tomorrow, help planning, prompting, testing, and refining and finally a chance to demo what you built.

Come with an idea. They'll 'll help you plan it, build it, and demo it.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
