Australian Sikh Games

  • Free
  • Sport

The 38th Australian Sikh Games returns to Melbourne over the Easter long weekend, bringing together sport, culture and community in one of Australia’s largest multicultural sporting festivals.

Held across multiple venues, the Games will welcome athletes, families and spectators from across the country to compete in a wide range of sports including hockey, athletics, kabaddi, basketball, football, cricket, volleyball and more, with events for men, women, juniors and veterans.

Beyond sport, the Games celebrate Sikh culture and community through cultural performances, entertainment, food vendors and the tradition of Langar – free community meals served to all, symbolising equality and service.

Family-friendly and inclusive, the Australian Sikh Games reflects Melbourne’s reputation as Australia’s sporting and multicultural capital, offering visitors a vibrant and welcoming festival experience for all ages.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
