25 Years of Self Portraits

Portraits of Self Discovery is a one night only exhibition of 25 years of self-portraiture by Jessica Illichmann, aka Mad Dame.

Spanning 2001–2026, the collection traces a personal journey from early film experiments to introspection, liberation, and female identity. This exhibition invites viewers to witness a life unfolding through images and reflect on their own journey of self-discovery.

The exhibition is held in a unique modern gallery in an artist studio in the iconic Nicholas Building, a hidden gem in the city.
