Readings is an independent retailer of books, music and films, with six shops operating in Melbourne.

The State Library Victoria store is the first permanent commercial bookshop in the Library’s 150-plus years of operation. The building is Australia's oldest public library and one of Victoria's great treasures.

Readings also has a popular website where you’ll find a range of ebooks for sale.
