Tradeblock Cafe

  • Cafe

Tradeblock Cafe is a fully operational cafe run by students of Victorian College for the Deaf. Students working in the cafe meet outcomes for their personal development and work related study. The cafe serves high quality coffee, homemade soups, pastries and gourmet sandwiches and offer a range of cakes, biscuits and slices. The menu changes daily, and is made with fresh, organic produce.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch in the surrounds of the beautiful heritage building or visit for a quick takeaway coffee. You'll also have the chance to learn about Auslan (Australian Sign Language – the language of the Australian Deaf Community) from their students and see how communication differences can be overcome.

The cafe operates during the school term only.
