Tokyo Lamington

  • Cafe

Born in 2019, Tokyo Lamington is the lovechild of Min Chai (former N2 Extreme Gelato) and Eddie Stewart (former Black Star Pastry). Originally a concept made for Tokyo, this little venture found its way into events around the world from Singapore's Grand Prix F1 and World Chocolate Day in Australia before settling in Sydney.

It's newest venture is this cute little cafe in Carlton, mixing up the humble Aussie lamington with international flavours - think yuzu-meringue; fairy-bread popcorn; lemon, lime and bitters; rose-strawberry; matcha and more

Also serving pies, quiche, onigiri and coffee.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
