The George on Collins

The George on Collins is a New York-style basement bar and restaurant. Located within the historic Georges on Collins building, it offers old-fashioned hospitality in a contemporary setting.

The George on Collins is well known for their private booths, and large group bookings. The Asian style sharing menus on offer cater for groups of all sizes for both lunch and dinner. The drinks list includes house cocktails (such as crowd favourite One Night In Paris), a wide variety of wines and beers, and an extensive list of spirits.

Enjoy 'bottomless boozy brunch' on Saturdays, happy hours on Tuesday to Friday from 3-6pm, plus a bar snack menu is available from 3-5pm every day. Or join them for dinner on Friday or Saturday and stay on to enjoy live DJs from 10.30pm until late.

Once a month on Thursdays from 10pm till very late, the space transforms into The Jam, a high-energy music haven, bringing together Melbourne’s top musicians for an immersive, spontaneous jam session.
