The Cricketers Bar

  • Casual dining

Set on Spring Street, and near the MCG, the cosy Cricketers Bar (tucked into the ground level of the historic Windsor Hotel) is a local favourite.

The alfresco area is a popular spot year-around, serving beers on tap, cocktails, spritzes and spirits. There's a rotating lunch special on weekdays, served with a pot of beer or glass of wine. Tuesday nights are Steak Nights, and Wednesday nights are Curry Nights, both under $30. You'll also find the classics – chicken parmigiana, fish and chips, scotch fillets and more.

A sports bar, the Cricketers Bar also holds historic memorabilia from the Melbourne Cricket Club, including Sir Don Bradman's bat.
