Saké Restaurant & Bar at Hamer Hall is a luxurious, high-energy dining space. It offers premium Japanese dishes and an exceptional drinks list, including of course an impressive list of sake.

Try the signature hiramasa kingfish with soy dressing and house-made lime and jalapeno paste. Or the glacier 51 toothfish, with miso butter cooked in bamboo leaves.

The drinks menu is spectacular with a large focus on Japanese umeshu, shochu, whisky and sake. There is also an exceptional wine list.

The Saké Classics set menu is a great option here providing exceptional value for money. Saké Hour from 4pm-5pm Tuesday to Sunday is a unique take on the happiest hour of day, and provides walk-in guests the opportunity to try nigiri and signature bites, cocktails, beer and wine at a very affordable price.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
