Niku Shiki

Niku Shiki (meaning meat for all seasons in Japanese) has opened its doors to its Melbourne CBD location.

The vision of founder Kai Gu, this immersive restaurant is not only a dine-in experience, but offers grab and go meals, a butcher offering fresh cuts of wagyu and seafood, a grocer to elevate your at home cooking and a contemporary Japanese experience nestled in the heart of Melbourne.

Chef Ken Kee, was enlisted to help design the menu using the highest quality wagyu from leading supplier, Pardoo Wagyu. Chef Kee is the Head Chef of local Japanese restaurant Marble Yakiniku, where he was awarded a Good Food hat in 2023.

The wagyu sukiyaki hot pot choices and wagyu donburi dishes have been a highlight for dine-in patrons so far and are must-try items.

There's three spaces within one dining destination that all pay homage to wagyu.
