Eau de Vie

Eau de Vie is a seated cocktail bar with the look and feel of 1920s prohibition America. The venue transports patrons back to a forgotten era when great service, cocktails, tommy guns, and good times were king.

Dimly lit, intimate, and jazz-infused, Eau de Vie is known for an incredible spirits collection, cocktails served under plumes of liquid nitrogen, food designed to accompany good drinking, as well as a secret lounge hidden behind their bookcase that stores a large collection of rare and exclusive whiskies.

Eau de Vie features a novel five-course whiskey and cocktail degustation dinner, which is a mix of fine cuisine, theatre and top-notch cocktails. Designed with the discerning cocktail drinker and foodie in mind, the Eau de Vie dining experience is an over-the-top night.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
