David's Master Pot

  • Restaurant
  • Takeaway

Spicy Pot is the perfect option to warm you up on a cold day in Melbourne. Named Malatang in Chinese, Mala means 'hot & numbing', which is the sensation you get from Sichuan peppercorns.

Spicy Pot was originally a Sichuan street food and the owner, David, grew up there. The soup base is made from a traditional Sichuan recipe, slow-cooked with dozens of Chinese herbs. You can choose from hundreds of ingredients to create a personalised pot. They also offer many other authentic Sichuan street foods.
