Bossa Nova Cafe & Restaurant

  • Cafe

Bossa Nova is a Brazilian cafe offering traditional food and other dishes that showcase Brazilian flavours.

If you are a coffee lover, try their specialty coffee beans from Brazil, selected and roasted by Code Black.

Bossa Nova's menu combines some of the most popular dishes and street food from Brazil, such as feijoada, fish Moqueca, bobó de camarão and the beloved prato feito with picanha steak. Pão de queijo, coxinha, pastel, vroquette de bacalhau e dadinho de tapioca are some of the snacks and tapas you can also enjoy at Bossa Nova.

The menu includes a range of housemade Brazilian cakes and desserts, along with brunch and sandwiches, all with a Brazilian twist. Gluten free and vegan options are also available.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
