Amigos y Familia is a Mexican restaurant with South American influences on Hardware Lane, built around share plates and an extensive tequila, mezcal and agave spirits list.

Spread across three levels – an underground dining room, laneway seating and El Quiote Bar upstairs – it's served the lane since December 2011.

Daily happy hour runs from 4pm to 6pm, and the kitchen caters to halal, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan and seafood-free diets.
