  • Landmark

St Michael's Uniting Church is notable for its striking architecture, progressive outlook and wellbeing programs.

Designed in the 1860s by Joseph Reed, who also designed the Melbourne Town Hall and Royal Exhibition Building, the National Trust-classified building features Romanesque arches, a turreted spire and multicoloured brickwork.

St Michael's hosts events and seminars, and runs regular wellbeing programs including tai chi, yoga, meditation and poetry groups.

The church is also home to Mingary – the Quiet Place, a peaceful sanctuary for people of all religions and cultures, devoted to healing and restoration.

Open Sunday for worship service at 10am.
