Repair Hub Pop Up

  • Free
  • Family and kids

A blouse without a button? A rucksack with a rip? A teddy with a tear? A zipper that's zonked out?

In collaboration with the City of Melbourne and the Kensington Repair Hub, expert menders will be popping up at the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market to help bring your most loved, cuddled and worn pieces back to life.

Bring your piece in for some repair magic. Just turn up on the day with your item. Show your appreciation with a 'pay what you feel' donation.

If replacing a zipper please make sure you have removed your broken zipper and bring along a new zipper that is the right size for your repair.

Part of the QVM Circular Economy Precinct - where we reuse, not retire.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
