Olivia Jane: Delirium

  • Free
  • Art

Olivia Jane's exhibition Delirium offers an exploration of materials to link parts of the identity, as it moves through states of depersonalisation, grief and transitions.

Incorporating a sculptural installation that you are invited to inhabit, where light reflections and embedded sounds create movement through stagnation, the work is built to be activated, disrupted or subtly reconfigured. As it's completed through the disruption of the decomposing natural elements, space is held for the residue of the parts of self removed and destroyed.

Opening event on Thursday 16 April, at 6pm.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
