Nurturing Forever Stories with Evelyn Araluen

Join Goorie and Koori poet, Dr Evelyn Araluen, author of Dropbear and The Rot, this Reconciliation Week with a panel of soon to be announced creatives, focussing on nurturing forever stories.

Her poetry debut Dropbear was published by the University of Queensland Press in 2021, and won the 2022 Stella Prize for Australian Womens' Literature. Her next collection, The Rot, was published by UBQ in 2025 and has won the Victorian Prize for Literature at the Victorian Premier's Awards and is shortlisted for the Stella Prize.
