Nature Connection with Nature Journaling

  • Workshop
  • Activity

Deepen your experience of spending time in nature through the practice of nature journaling.

This workshop combines creativity, science and mindfulness exploring the gardens of the Plant Craft Cottage in autumn. You'll start with a guided sensory exploration, and then turn to capturing some of nature’s treasures on the page. All levels of experience are welcome and all supplies are provided.

At the end of this session, you'll take home the nature journal pages you create, plus specific skills and ideas to try at home.

Your tutor Dr Kathleen Bagot is a certified nature journaling educator and has been nature journaling for over seven years. She has studied nature connection and the benefits of spending time in nature for adults and children, earning a PhD in Environmental Psychology and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, and mindfulness facilitator.
