Starting Sat Feb 28th, racers will meet at Birrarung Marr for an 8am kickoff, launching a race through Melbourne via location-based and photo challenges that lead them off the beaten path. From iconic laneways to lesser-known local spots, the Gem Race celebrates discovery, curiosity and seeing the city with fresh eyes.

Whether you’re teaming up with friends, or flying solo, the event is open to everyone. Go at your own pace, choose your own strategy, and enjoy the journey.
