The Malthouse Theatre is a contemporary performing arts space in Southbank, presenting entertaining and thought-provoking theatre over three spaces.

Located in a renovated former brewery, the theatre champions artistic and cultural diversity, cultivating Australian talent and curating inventive theatrical experiences from around the globe.

All theatre spaces are accessible, with wheelchair-to-seat transfer, audio description, Auslan interpretation, and hearing assistance systems provided.

The on-site cafe opens from 8am until the beginning of the nightly performance. The bar opens Tuesday to Saturday 5pm to late, and Sunday 5pm to late (on performance days only).

Box office hours are subject to change.
