Join State Library Victoria for a powerful evening celebrating the enduring legacy of two of Australia’s most influential musical storytellers – Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter.

Through conversation, live performance and heartfelt reflection, this final special edition of Love and Art honours the profound cultural impact of Archie and Ruby’s music, activism, storytelling and community leadership.

Featuring Amos Roach – son of Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter, carrying forward his parents’ legacy through music, storytelling and cultural practice – the evening will explore the creative and personal legacy of Archie and Ruby, alongside video screenings and live readings of letters written by artists, collaborators and loved ones inspired by their lives and work.
