Discover the hidden corners of Melbourne with a brand-new map created by Julian O’Shea. An award-winning Australian designer, educator, comedian and digital storyteller, Julian is the creator of the popular Unknown Melbourne video series revealing the hidden stories behind the city.

Held in the historic Royal Society of Victoria building, the evening will begin with fun, interactive games followed by Julian’s story of the creation of the Unknown Melbourne Map – a hand-drawn guide to Melbourne’s quirky places and the stories behind them.

A light supper will be served, and copies of the map will be available on the night.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
