The Koorie Heritage Trust is a space to connect with the Aboriginal culture, heritage and histories of Victoria.
Through a program of exhibitions, educational and cultural activities, this not-for-profit cultural centre promotes, supports and celebrates the continuing journey of the Aboriginal people. It houses the only public collection in Victoria dedicated to Koorie art and culture, along with an oral history collection, photographic archives and a reference library.
Visitors can join workshops, educational and walking tours, or participate in Indigenous cross-cultural awareness training.
A retail shop features products designed or crafted by Koorie and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including books, jewellery, clothing and artworks. All proceeds go to supporting the Koorie Heritage Trust and Koorie artists and designers.
