Jebediah: Are We OK? Meet the Filmmaker Screening

  • Film
  • Talk

Join Jebediah lead singer Kevin Mitchell and director Arlo Dean Cook live, in-cinema, for a Q&A moderated by Dylan Lewis (ABC’s Recovery), after the acclaimed documentary 'Jebediah: Are We Ok?'

This is the story of a band that grew up but never grew apart. Perth alt-rockers Jebediah starkly contrasted the explosivity of bands around them as they came to fruition in the late-1990s and early-2000s Australian indie music scene. But as their third decade together arrived, so did an unexpected shift in their creative and personal lives. With addiction beginning to supplement the carefree vagrancies of their youth, the bandmates and friends must confront themselves in a way they’ve never had to before.

Jebediah: Are We Ok? is a celebration of friendship, creativity, and staying connected against the odds, built from an illuminating and immense wealth of archival and home-movie footage.
