Indian Film Festival of Melbourne: Opening Night

Enter the glamorous world of Indian cinema at the opening night of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, commencing with the celebrated Hindi short film, We Were Here.

The short film is directly followed by the Australian premiere of the Berlinale-acclaimed Tamil film Members of the Problematic Family. Get a chance to interact with the director of the film, R.Gowtham in an exclusive Q&A session after the film.

The opening night will see the chief guest light the ceremonial lamp and officially inaugurate the 17th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. A night to remember, opening night rolls out the red carpet and brings the best of Indian cinema to Victorian audiences.
