Hartbeats Live Jazz

  • Free
  • Music

Sunday afternoons find a different rhythm at Whitehart.

Throughout July, Liona Tatafu curates Halo Sundays, a live jazz residency celebrating powerful voices, close collaborators and the joy of making music together. Joined by guitarist Josh Vuocolo, each week welcomes a special guest, bringing a fresh performance to the laneway.

5 July – Melody Kin & Aaron Evans
12 July – Angelia Panteli
19 July – Tanya George
26 July – SKYE

Then from 5pm, the music continues with the Sunday Soul Dance Session hosted by Dre and Jerome De La Cruz and from 7pm to 9pm Amin Payne and guests take over.

One Sunday, three chapters. From live jazz to soul sessions and late-night selectors, Hartbeats keeps the laneway moving well into the evening.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
