Halloween at Old Melbourne Gaol

  • Family and kids
  • Entertainment

This Halloween, Melbourne’s most notorious gaol gets a playful frightful makeover – with thrills, chills and plenty of cheeky shrills. Step inside the shadowy corridors of the Old Melbourne Gaol and the Old City Watch House, transformed for one night only into a mischievous playground of costumes, candy and curious characters.

Throw on your creepiest costume and join a night of playful scares, unexpected delights and memories you’ll want to share (or maybe not!).

After a sold out night in 2024, Halloween at Old Melbourne Gaol returns bigger, bolder and spookier than ever. But beware – tickets vanish quickly… and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Your spookiest Halloween adventure starts here. Will you take the dare?

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
