A transcendent celebration of Sufi music from Pakistan, the Arab world, Andalusia, Iran, and Turkey. Five Pathways to Love presents an immersive Sufi music experience inspired by the lineage of Hazrat Amir Khusro. Qawwali masters Ustaad Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwals perform alongside Taraab Ensemble, the Victorian Trade Union Choir, Maryam Parsi, Mana Duet, Middle Eastern, Iranian and Turkish musicians, Sufi dancer Elham, and a live calligrapher in a powerful meeting of music, movement and poetry.
Forty artists weave traditions from Pakistan, the Arab world, Andalusia, Iran and Australia, blending soul-stirring melodies with sacred words shared across Urdu, Farsi, Ottoman Turkish and Arabic. More than a concert, this is a shared journey of devotion and connection that lifts the spirit and opens the heart.
