Fight Parkinson's A Walk in the Park

  • Fitness
  • Activity

A Walk in the Park brings together thousands of people, including those living with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, carers, and healthcare professionals, united in support of a shared cause.

More than just a walk, A Walk in the Park is a community-driven movement that raises vital awareness and funds to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.

Every walk is special, but this year is in celebration of a significant milestone: 15 years of the Parkinson’s community coming together, side by side, to create connection, drive impact, and support meaningful change for people living with Parkinson’s, their carers, and supporters.

No one needs to walk alone. Gather your team, invite your community, and be part of something bigger. The more people who take part, the greater the collective impact and ability to raise awareness of Parkinson’s across the wider community.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
