The Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association hosts its second ever Great Sarcoma Plank-A-Thon at Kensington Town Hall.
The Great Sarcoma Plank-A-Thon is a fitness challenge where individuals or teams have to hold a plank to raise money for sarcoma research.
Sarcoma is a rare cancer that represents only one percent of adult cancers but about twenty percent of all childhood cancers, yet its research receives dramatically less funding. Due to its rarity and lack of funding, some research options have not changed in over 40 years. The association exists to change this and bring hope to those battling this devastating cancer.
They invite you to take on this fitness challenge and join for this event, where doctors, sarcoma survivors, families and supporters will come together to do the challenge.
