Ela! Ela! Ella Mittas

To celebrate the release of Ela! Ela! To Italy, Georgia, Bulgaria and Home, Cumulus Inc. is welcoming Melbourne writer, cook and artist Ella Mittas for one special afternoon.

Following her bestselling debut, Ella's second book traces a journey from her grandparents' backyard in Melbourne to a biodynamic vineyard in Lucca, a mountain festival in the Georgian Caucasus, and into the archives of Bulgaria's Slow Food network. It's a book about inheritance, what gets carried forward and what gets left behind.

Head Chef, Hannah Holleran, will share a four-course menu drawn straight from the book's pages. To complement the dishes, guests are welcome to select from a wine list curated especially for the occasion, featuring wines from Italy, Greece and Georgia. Ella will join in on the lunch to discuss her travels, the dishes and the stories that shaped the book.
