City of Melbourne presents the world premiere of World Forever, a new commissioned work for Grand Organ by Australian composer and guitarist Cam Butler.

Best known for his work with Silver Ray and Ron S. Peno and the Superstitions, Butler releases his twelfth solo album with a bold new sound. World Forever blends a 28‑piece string orchestra and rock ensemble with the immense power of the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ.

The result is a sweeping, cinematic journey moving from lush, widescreen beauty to dark, gothic intensity and psychedelic colour. This is Butler’s most ambitious and atmospheric work yet.
