City of Melbourne are kicking off their Insect BioBlitz week with a BugBlitz for kids.
Join the Park Rangers to become insect explorers – discover the hidden world of insects with an interactive session and guided walk around Royal Park’s Trin Warren Tam-Boore Wetlands.
With curiosity and a magnifying glass in hand, you’ll be amazed at that what you’ll see.
Most suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years old. Guardians must be in attendance.
This free event is part of City of Melbourne’s Insect BioBlitz, running from Sunday 1 March to Saturday 7 March 2026. Join for a week dedicated to discovering, documenting and learning about the local critters who call Melbourne home.
