Direct from New Orleans to Fed Square, Big Freedia will headline a high-octane celebration of hip-hop, rap and queer culture that will make your booty go.

Set to be a huge end-of-summer blow out, Big Freedia is a high-voltage performer, cultural revolutionary and the undisputed Queen of Bounce. She will unleash her energy in an explosive live show guaranteed to get you to clap your hands, stomp your feet and shake it fast.

Big Freedia’s commanding vocals are recognised globally, and her infectious energy has taken her from underground club scenes to the world stage, including her electrifying feature on Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning hit, Break My Soul.

Hosted by Tristan Meecham of All The Queens Men, Big Freedia + Friends will feature a line-up of local performers, showcasing some of the country’s most exciting voices across hip hop, rap, DJ, queer culture and dance.

Presented as part of Open Air at the Square.
