Ants by Polyglot Theatre
Ants is an interactive performance by Polyglot Theatre which brings children together to explore the landscape around them.
With hundreds of breadcrumbs scattered around and three large, curious insects on the scene, children are irresistibly drawn closer to find out how they can join in. As they collaborate, a captivating world emerges, with shifting lines and patterns taking shape, and everyday spaces transformed into mesmerising landscapes.
This enchanting 30-minute performance explores the nature of work and how children engage with their surroundings. It occurs in the main foyer of the museum and is included with museum entry tickets.
Presented by Melbourne Museum, this season of Ants is supported by the City of Melbourne.
Auslan interpreter available for 11am performances on Sat 18 & Wed 22 Jan.
