Wax Music Lounge is the brainchild of the trailblazing team behind Melbourne's legendary Wax Museum Records. It's nestled in the basement of the Selina Hotel, opposite the iconic Flinders St train station and one door down from Degraves Street.

Stepping into an interior space updated by award-winning architects and lighting designers, Wax Music Lounge is a sonic realm meticulously crafted for both performers and patrons, with a bespoke sound system courtesy of Australia's sonic maestros, Pitt & Giblin. They're not just about the beats, but about elevating your musical experience to unprecedented heights.

The drinks menu takes you on a journey through the land of lo-fi natural wines, craft beers and spirits.

Their music and entertainment program offers a meticulously curated tapestry of the city's soulful underground scene. From the city's best DJs to live virtuosos and boundary-pushing party promoters.

Kick back with friends or lose yourself on the dance floor.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
