Valhalla

  • Bar
  • Casual dining

Valhalla is a nordic-inspired underground bar, serving up creative cocktails and seasonal plates crafted with local ingredients and Scandinavian simplicity.

A hidden gem tucked away in the basement of the iconic Olderfleet building, Valhalla's raw yet refined design elements and dimmed, moody atmosphere create a sense of style and occasion. Deep greens, woods and dark hues fill the space, with this theme tying in beautifully with the ‘old world’ charm of the Olderfleet building.

Valhalla’s uncompromising beverage menu includes a mix of innovative cocktails, designed to showcase unique Australian spirits and native ingredients sourced from small independent foragers and producers.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
