Tres a Cinco

  • Restaurant

Tres a Cinco is a Mexican bar and cantina by MoVida.

Following the success of the Comida Corrida Mexican food boxes during lockdown, a project entirely staffed and supportive of their international chefs and waitstaff, Sarai Castillo, one of MoVida's key kitchen staff for the past six years, took over one of their venues. This has given her delicious take on Mexican food a proper platform and permanent home in Hosier Lane.

Sarai was raised with a cross-section of different Mexican regional influences, and it's this range of cooking you'll find on her menu. In true Mexican taberna style, Tres a Cinco is a space that's open to all comers, from those hunting a full-fledged Mexican feast to the weary worker who needs a quiet moment and a single cold beer, tequila or mezcal after a long day.

Start with some King fish aguachile ceviche or Brocheta de pollo al pastor (served with pineapple sauce). Move on to some Queso fundido with green chorizo. Topped off with their daily margarita!
