Platform 270

  • Bar
  • Restaurant

Conveniently located amongst the hustle and bustle of Flinders Street, Platform270 is named in tribute of the iconic Flinders Street Station and is influenced by the style of old-fashioned train carriages and Melbourne’s central city area.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, the restaurant and bar features a moody ceiling to floor fireplace, graffiti style carpet, leather booths and exposed concrete walls with original graffiti markings. Like the eclectic city laneways and varied cultures that occupy Melbourne, the modern-Australian menu is influenced by iconic dishes from different cuisines, while showcasing high-quality, local produce.

Thoughtfully curated to offer a diverse range of wines, the beverage menu highlights the flavours and character of Victoria's renowned wine regions, as well as other popular wine regions across Australia, including Cloud St, LT Vespa, Haan Estate and Juliet.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
