louie is a little cafe in the heart of the city focusing on the daily essentials with a touch of finesse.

It features a neutral palette fit-out aimed at providing a sense of calm, while exuding reliability and consistency in both the offerings and service. Coffee is brewed from sustainably sourced single origin coffee beans from regional Colombia. The type was carefully selected to not only complement the selection of dairy and alternative milk, but also enhance both milk and espresso flavours. Each cup is brewed with immense attention to detail and accuracy.

A selection of sweet and savoury muffins fill the display cabinet. Baked daily and in-house, they are perfect for a quick snack. They can also be catered in bulk, suitable for corporate functions or private events. Gourmet toasties is also amongst the staple offerings at louie. The current line-up includes the creamy mushroom and tender chicken, with more options added and rotated on a regular basis.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
