Le Taj is a licensed restaurant in West Melbourne serving authentic Indian cuisine.

Dishes are a combination of traditional Indian spices and the finest local produce, offering favourites such as tandoori butter chicken, balti chicken and lamb rogan josh.

They also have a range of house specialities, like the bhoot jolokia beef curry. Described as ‘Melbourne’s hottest curry’, this dish should satisfy any chilli lover. Or try the slightly milder kadhai prawns or lamb bhuna.

Vegetarians and vegans have a great range of options with dishes like vegetable jalfrezi, mushroom masala and alu gobi (cauliflower, lentils, potato and tomato and coriander) on the menu.

Finish with a sweet treat like gulab jamun, pistachio kulfi or the mango ice cream. If you can’t decide, order the dessert platter and try all three.
