Johnny's Green Room

  • Rooftop bar
  • Entertainment

Johnny’s Green Room is a rooftop bar above King & Godfree. It's ideal for after-dinner drinks, or even a well-deserved afternoon snack, and offers views from the Carlton end of Lygon Street, all the way to the city.

Think a rooftop in Rome, but with Carlton-chic and plenty of comfy seating. Serving both classic and original cocktails, plus local and imported beer and wines. There’s Italian-inspired snacks to munch on while admiring the view: beef crostini, arancini balls, mozzarella, cured meats, plus pork-and-fennel sausage rolls and Angus beef burgers. Larger dishes are available over lunch and dinner. Pidapipo choc tops are also available.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
