Bababoi
Bababoi Kitchen and Bar offers Nyonya cuisine - a blend of Chinese cooking techniques with Malay ingredients offering rich and intense flavours accented with tanginess found further south in Asia.
You'll find Malaysian classics like nasi lemak, nasi goreng and chicken satay, but try something you might not have seen before - the ayam buah keluak is a chicken stew covered in the black nut of the mangrove tree and loads of herbs and spices. The ayam kapitan is a rich chicken curry cooked with rempah (a spicy combination of Malaysian spices) and creamy coconut milk.
There is a small selection of domestic beer, but the drinks list really shines with a selection of Malaysian soft drinks, as well as a delicious mocktail of pandan tea, coconut water, pineapple juice, soy milk, honey lemon, rose soda and barley.
