Settle in for an evening of live music as four talented up-and-coming songwriters perform the songs that they are most proud of writing – and tell the audience how they came about.

First Nations indie-folk singer-songwriter of ‘sad girl’ songs Wren Arkose, brings emotional stories about identity to the stage, off the back of her recent single I choose my name. Born in Russia and raised in Vietnam, Myhoa now lives in Melbourne, where she writes and sings in Vietnamese and English. Immy Owusu, named Best Musician at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards, fuses psychedelia, Zamrock and Highlife into the ‘Afrodelik’ sound you can hear on his debut album LO-LIFE!. Caisha Sprout, a songwriter of Indian heritage, blends blues, roots and soul into work that moves from intimate storytelling to powerful, groove-driven songs–most recently on her EP Misery Don’t Want Bad Company.
