Talk: Walking the Camino de Santiago

  • Free
  • Talk

Practical and engaging free talk introduces the Camino de Santiago - the famous pilgrimage walk across Spain that attracts more than 500,000 people each year from all over the world. Due to room capacity limits booking is required.

You’ll learn how to prepare, what to expect, the different Camino routes, daily life on the trail, physical and mental preparation, planning essentials, and common challenges.

Drawing on his own experience, David Box shares what it really takes to complete the Camino - whether walking the full 800km+ journey or the final 100km to receive the Compostela certificate.

More than a long-distance walk, the Camino is a journey through history, culture and personal reflection. Many who walk it describe it as a turning point in their lives.

Whether you’re planning to walk it or simply curious, this talk offers a clear and inspiring introduction to one of the world’s great journeys.
