Sunday Session on The Steve

  • Free
  • Music

Come aboard the flagship of the Whale Wars to learn about a 10-year battle to stop illegal whaling in Antarctica. Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of live music and the opportunity to explore the historically registered eco-battleship MV Steve Irwin.

Step inside the ship's former helicopter hangar, now transformed into a unique art gallery showcasing the captivating works of Victor Holder, created for the immersive Seaing is Believing exhibition.

Then venture below deck to the ship's mess to explore the history of the vessel, from the famous conservation campaigns to the people and wildlife it helped protect.

Curated tours at 2pm and 4pm ($10) access the bridge and bow with stories of the ship's historic past and new beginnings. Wood-fired menu options and bar snacks are available to purchase while the live band performs.
